IMCU RN (Registered Nurse)

Location: Albany, Georgia Contract Length: 17 weeks Shift: Nights, 7p-7a Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Unit Overview

Intermediate care unit that serves as a bridge between PCU and ICU
Cares for ventilated patients and critical drips
Patient ratio is 3:1 (versus 2:1 elsewhere)

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Proficiency in medication management
ACLS certification
BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Must live within 75 miles of the facility, measured to the address on the traveler's driver's license (strict rule)

Charting is an absolute mess. Worst Meditech build I've ever seen. Obnoxious amount of time spent covering for what I assume are problems they've been sued or fined for, I have no other explanation for how tedious it is.
