PCU/ICU RN

Overview

Full-time RN position in a 23-bed Med/Surg/ICU unit.
12-hour day/night rotation, including weekends.
72 hours per two-week pay period.
Black scrubs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in ICU.
Knowledge of cardiac-related medications and rhythm analysis.
Previous care of BIPAP patients.
ND State (or compact) Nursing license.
BLS.
ACLS.
Completion of a basic cardiology class for nurses.

Clinical Duties / Procedures

Telemetry
Dressing changes
Vents/BIPAP
IV starts

Unit Details

1:1-3 ICU nurse-to-patient ratio depending on census and patient needs.

Orientation

8 hours of non-billable orientation.
1 week of hospital and department orientation.
