Job Opportunity: PICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bronx, New York
Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Unit Size: 26 beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2

Contract Details

Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW)
Holiday Requirements: Yes
Orientation: Unit/Department specific orientation provided
Additional Notes: Traveler friendly, contracts often extended

Patient Population

Critically ill or surgical pediatric patients

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience
Prior travel experience required
New York State RN license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
COVID-19 vaccination required
Academic hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

Local placements accepted
Parking expenses expected to be covered by the nurse
