CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Travel Contract

Location: Lakewood, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

A hospital in Washington is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel contract. The candidate will perform inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient CT exams using GE Optima 660 equipment. The department uses EPIC and McKesson PACS systems.

Schedule & Shifts

• Work Days: Saturday through Monday
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-call Requirement: Every Wednesday from 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Holiday Requirement: None
• Orientation: 2 weeks of department-specific orientation (approx. 25+ hours during first 2 weeks, not guaranteed)
• Dress Code: Any professional scrub color

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• Washington State CT Technologist license (must have at time of application)

Skills & Duties

• Perform 1-2 CT scans per hour
• May assist with IV starts during day shifts (not required on graveyard shifts)
• Work closely with on-site radiologists available 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and reachable by phone 24/7

Additional Information

• This is a Level 4 hospital
• Dedicated transporter available Mon-Fri 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM and Sat-Mon 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Urgent need with ASAP start
