Job Opportunity: GI/Endo Tech

Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Work in a facility with 10 endoscopy suites
  • Approximately 60 cases per day
  • Common procedures include:
    • EGD
    • Colonoscopy
    • PEG Placement
    • Bravo Placement
    • Dilation
  • Additional experience preferred with:
    • Endoscopic ultrasound
    • Basic ERCPs

Schedule & Requirements

  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No mandatory call, weekend, holiday, or standby requirements
  • Floating within the 3 endoscopy departments
  • Dress code: OR scrubs
  • Orientation: 2-3 days specific to unit/department

Required Certifications & Qualifications

  • BLS certification required
  • Must be able to tech all basic endoscopy cases

Notes

  • No charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities
  • No shift scheduling or call requirements

Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required
Years of experience: Not explicitly stated; must be able to perform all basic endoscopy cases and have experience with endoscopic ultrasound and/or basic ERCPs
