Job Opportunity: RN - Central Resource Pool (Med Surg/Tele)
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation). This role involves collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and applies age- and population-specific standards in the assigned clinical setting. Care responsibilities include preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, patient education, triage, and coordination of care.
Work Details
- Float pool position covering Med Surg/Tele units
- Straight night shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- Local placements within an 80-mile radius
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license for South Dakota
- Experience in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing (years of experience not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1 year or more based on specialty)
Additional Notes
- If previously employed by the facility, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
- Must adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of South Dakota
