Experience & Skills Required

• Inpatient staffing experience
• Vancomycin AUC dosing
• Aminoglycosides dosing
• Heparin dosing and monitoring
• TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) management and monitoring
• Understanding of USP 797 standards (IV Room experience not required but must be able to ensure proper IV preparation)
• Minimal chemotherapy preparation (gemcitabine, mitomycin, methotrexate) knowledge preferred

Scheduling & Shifts

• Monday-Friday shifts:

  • 06:00-14:30 (central pharmacy)
  • 07:30-16:00 (decentralized/clinical)
  • 12:00-20:30 and 13:30-22:00 (PM pharmacy shifts)
• Holidays and weekends:

  • One AM shift 06:00-16:00
  • 13:30-22:00 shift
• No third shift required
• Weekend requirement: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Holiday requirement: Yes
• No on-call requirement

• Medication dispensing system: Omnicell
• Dress code: Scrubs (clean & professional) or business casual
• Orientation: Typical orientation modules plus 2-3 week pharmacy-specific orientation
• Must clock in and out at the facility
