Registered Nurse - Pediatric Oncology

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Provide safe patient care in a pediatric hematology/oncology ambulatory setting.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and support beyond individual assignments.
  • Night shift work with every other weekend required.
  • Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed).
  • Facility is nicotine-free; drug screening required.
  • Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Georgia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Current BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemo certifications

Systems/Technology

  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Additional Notes

  • Immediate start dates only.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and comply with facility policies.
