Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Complex acute care environment)

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Unit: Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Daily OT Consults: Approx. 250 active consults/day
• Staffing:

  • Headcount: 30
  • Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs): 17.29
  • OTR to COTA ratio: Approximately 2:1 (estimated, not guaranteed)
  • Patient load: Typically 8-10 patients assigned per OTR per day (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Equipment: General acute care Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Kansas
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Acute care experience, including ICU experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma experience
• Comprehensive stroke experience
