Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (3 shifts of 12 hours)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
As a Certified Respiratory Therapist, you will provide cardiopulmonary services following approved protocols and department policies. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintaining airways
- Ventilator management
- Intubations
- Blood gas analysis
You will provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients. Experience is required in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED). Minimal NICU and pediatric experience is needed to cover the ED.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential with a minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED) settings
- Experience working with pediatric and neonate patients, with minimal NICU and pediatric experience required to cover the ED
