Job Details

Specialty: General Medicine (Medical-Surgical)
Shift: PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (can be cancelled up to 3 times per contract)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None

Patient Ratio: 1:6
Unit Beds: 24
Float Requirements: May float to other units in the acute care division
EMR System: Cerner

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Proficient in Bar Code Medication Administration (BCMA)
Experience with Cerner EMR system
Current BLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
