Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: JFK Main – CT Tech
• Number of Beds: 24
• Number of Staff: 14 (Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs)
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs (varies by volume)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Equipment: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
• EMR System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: Yes, 4-6 shifts per month (on off days)

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS
• Licenses: Florida State Department of Health Radiology Tech License
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT Tech specialty (highest required)
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with GE equipment and Meditech EMR system

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body Scans
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment
