Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Tech - Endoscopy

Location: Biddeford, Maine

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Assist doctors with endoscopy equipment
• Clean scopes and troubleshoot equipment
• Experience with ERBE and GI4000 cautery devices preferred
• SGNA certification preferred but not required
• BLS certification required

Work Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 days of 10-hour shifts)
• Call: Weekend call about once a month, plus some weekday call on a rotating basis
• Weekend hours: On call only

Unit Information

• 4 procedure rooms (including 1 satellite site room and 3 hospital ambulatory rooms)
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• EMR system: EPIC (not actively used)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician
• Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Experience assisting physicians with endoscopy equipment
• Skilled in cleaning endoscopy scopes
• Ability to troubleshoot endoscopy equipment

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Can wear own scrubs or use provided scrubs at the facility
