Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient rehab nursing
- Must have at least 13 weeks of EPIC electronic health record experience
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Facility & Unit Information
- 49-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehab
- Patient ratio: 6 patients to 1 nurse
- EHR system: EPIC
- Accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend hours: Every other weekend
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 (with possible call-off up to 2 times without penalty due to low census)
- No on-call requirements
Certifications & Education
- BLS certification required
Additional Notes
- No float requirements
- Preferred skillset includes EPIC and rehab experience (or at least acute care experience)
- Scrub color: Any
- Reporting time on first day: 8:00 AM
