Job Description

  • Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care patients
  • Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other personnel
  • Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
  • Floating required if needed
  • On-call: 10-12 days of call in a 6-week schedule period
  • Shift: 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Scrub color: Any color scrubs allowed
  • EMR system: Cerner

Requirements

  • Arizona RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU specialty

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks
