Unit Information

• Unit: Cath Lab
• Beds: 4 Procedural Rooms, 14 Recovery Bays
• Staffing:

  • Total Staff: 45
  • Day Shift: 3-4 staff per procedural room
  • Night Shift: On-call 4-person team
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff per patient procedure
• Equipment: Cath, EP IR, Neuro IR Lab
• EMR System: MAC Lab

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years current Cath Lab experience (higher than the 1 year noted elsewhere)
• Skills:

  • Current Cath Lab experience is mandatory
  • Techs must have experience with Cath Lab, IR, Peripherals, Neuro IR
  • EP experience is a plus

Preferred Skills

• IR, EP, Neuro IR, Cardiac Intervention experience preferred

• PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty)
• Thrombolytic Infusion
• Pacemakers
• Stents
• IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
• AngioJet
• Atherectomy
• Angiography
• BiV Implants
• EP Studies
• IVC Filters
• Coilings
• Impella Insertions
• Carotid Stenting and Angiograms
• Renal Angiograms
• AICD Implants
• All IR Procedures

Work Schedule & Policies

• Call required 2 nights per week and every other weekend
• Scrub color: Any (provided by facility)
• Shoe color: Must wear black, white, or gray shoes

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks
