Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Provide speech-language pathology services to a pediatric population ranging from neonates to adolescents. Focus areas include evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders/delays, with an emphasis on infant feeding and ICU experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders/delays using age-appropriate, pediatric-based behavior management strategies.
  • Develop treatment plans with age-appropriate goals and mutually agree on target timeframes with families.
  • Maintain documentation according to policies and procedures.
  • Assess needs for equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in monitoring speech pathology students.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Arizona.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association.
  • ASHA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience.

Additional Information

  • Start date expected in June or early July.
  • Shift: AM.
