Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics
Location: Norfolk, Virginia
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, including every other weekend and holidays

Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy care primarily in pediatric settings including Emergency Department (ED), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and general pediatrics care.
- Manage vented patients and conduct diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans and provide emergency respiratory care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia.
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience, including experience within the last year.
- Certifications required:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience working with pediatric patients across multiple care areas.
- General respiratory therapist experience.
