Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Float

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: AM

Job Description

Float position on the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit
48 hours work week accommodated
Weekend and holiday coverage required every other weekend and alternating holidays
Patient ratios typically 1:5 or 1:6, occasionally 1:7

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
Experience working as a float nurse

Additional Information

This role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
