Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview

• Travel CNA role in long-term care.
• Primary evening shift: 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Start date: ASAP.

Required Qualifications

• Active MN CNA License.
• AHA BLS.
• 2+ years of CNA experience in LTC/SNF.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be flexible to work every weekend here and there if needed.
• Must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start.
• COVID vaccine required, with exemptions considered.

Preferred

• Matrix charting experience.

Schedule

• 8-hour PM shift, primary evenings.
• Weekend rotation: two weekends on, one weekend off.
• Holiday rotation.
• No on-call or call-back.

Unit / Assignment Details

• Primary location: long-term care facility in Wabasha, Minnesota.
• Unit overview includes:

  • 200 wing: mixed occupancy with residents needing total assistance, short-term rehab, and end-of-life care.
  • 100 wing: residents who are not total care, more ambulatory, and cognitively more intact.
• Float to other units as needed.

Additional Notes

• Must be able to work independently, manage change well, and work with elderly residents.
• Many residents require 2-assist transfers and cares.
• Scrub color: any professional color.
