Location: San Diego, California
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour day shift (06:30 - 15:00)

Job Summary

Apply clinical expertise in evidence-based nursing practice within a specialty area as a clinical expert and educator.
Provide leadership as a system thinker and change agent.
Facilitate improvement of nurse-sensitive outcomes in selected patient populations.
Develop and implement nursing professional development and clinical practice initiatives using evidence-based educational frameworks.
Assist nursing personnel in identifying learning needs and planning educational activities.
Collaborate with interprofessional teams on research and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
Manage educational resources, budgets, and records to support nursing staff development.
Promote professional growth, open communication, and organizational change.
Serve in expert roles on committees and participate in community and professional nursing organizations.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum 1 year of educator experience, including experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and robotics.
Scrub and circulate experience.
Perioperative nursing experience.
Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based nursing practice and evidence-based educational frameworks.
Knowledge and application of performance improvement and quality improvement methodologies.
Experience collaborating on research to improve patient outcomes.
