Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Clinic

Job Summary

As a Staff RN in Ambulatory Clinics, you will work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team to provide therapeutic, patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and assessing patient health data to develop, execute, and evaluate care plans
• Using evidence-based practice to guide clinical decisions for individual and population health
• Coordinating care across settings with patients, families, and other care providers
• Considering safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in care delivery
• Delegating and supervising care in accordance with Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development
• Providing direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and assisting with minor in-clinic procedures
• Floating to other areas as needed for operational support

Contract Length

Approximately 14 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• At least 1 year of ambulatory care experience within the last year
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
