Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 13 to 26 weeks preferred
• Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday
• Weekly Work Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: 5 x 8-hour day shifts (Tuesday – Saturday)
• May include occasional weekend coverage and floating

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care
• New graduates will be considered

Certifications & Licenses Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (current and clear copy)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• State License verification (primary source online verification)
• National Tech Certification as applicable (note some states require state licenses for techs)

Background Checks & Compliance

• Standard background check including 7-year search of locations lived/worked/schooled
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check (annual)
• HHS/OIG check (annual)

Health & Safety Documentation

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year of start; if past positive, negative chest x-ray within 1 year
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Competency & Skills

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable by profession)
• Competency Exam (as applicable by profession)
• Annual Skills Checklist

Additional Requirements

• Emergency Contact Form required prior to start
• Two professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years of start)
• One professional reference required for per diem non-acute care roles
• References not required for non-clinical roles

This position offers a structured schedule with a focus on post-acute care therapy, suitable for candidates with SNF or post-acute experience, including new graduates. Compliance with certifications, background checks, and health documentation is mandatory.
