Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Lillington, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year
• First-time travelers accepted
• No prior travel experience required

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT-MR (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Magnetic Resonance) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (see notes below)

Requirements & Compliance

• Background check required within 6 months of start
• Education verification or diploma/transcript required
• Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • TDAP vaccine within last 10 years (no declinations accepted for new hires)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccines required (no declinations accepted for new hires)
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination accepted
  • Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days
  • Annual flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with facility approval)
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required but accepted if available

Competencies & Testing

• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required as applicable, renewed annually
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required for awareness; candidates have 3 attempts to pass with remediation steps outlined
• Acknowledgment of Pass/Fail Testing required for Radiology and related units

• Floating to sister facilities is not required
• Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius
