Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Nights, option of 36 or 48 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend coverage

Job Description

Labor and Delivery nursing on night shift
Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring skills required
1-2 years recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Previous travel experience preferred

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, Management of Assaultive Behavior, Chemotherapy certifications as applicable

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Basic or intermediate fetal monitoring skills
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Education verification (highest level) required
Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Immunizations and titers required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Notes

Scrubs provided
Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
Employment application and work history verification required
References are an internal requirement but not mandatory for clearance
