Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - Travel/Contract

Location: Billings, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Night shift
Position: Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Current and valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport)
• State License (must be valid and approved within 30 days of start; temporary licenses not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA only, certificates of completion not accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only, certificates of completion not accepted
• Other certifications may be required depending on specific duties or departments

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 30 days of start; must be renewed annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
• Education verification through a 3rd party to confirm minimum required education
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Two references required, including one direct supervisor reference within the last year

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, stating fitness for duty and absence of communicable diseases
• Quantitative fit test with a 3M mask within 90 days prior to start (qualitative tests not accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray, renewed annually, with specific testing options outlined
• Immunizations or proof of immunity required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years or signed declination
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31), with exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Negative drug screen within 30 days of start, renewed annually, covering a comprehensive panel of substances

Additional Notes

• Employment verification preferred for the last 5 years
• Skills checklist and work history verification may be required
• Facility-specific OSHA form required for onsite fit testing
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred for psychiatric roles (not mandatory for RRT)
