Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel/Contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (ICU)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Will float to PCU (Progressive Care Unit) as needed
Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
Start dates available: February 9 or February 23
Required Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Either ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Travel experience preferred (not explicitly required, but noted as preferred)

Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update)
Competency Exams (Medication Test/Pharmacology and general competency as applicable)
Physical Exam (within 1 year of start, must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract)
Drug Testing (Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start, plan must be in place within 72 hours of signing contract)
Immunizations and Health Requirements (must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract unless otherwise noted):
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (2-step PPD or equivalent within 1 year)
- Rubeola (Measles) - 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Mumps - 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Rubella - 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B - Positive titer, series, or declination
- Varicella - 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination (required during flu season, medical/religious exemptions possible)
- COVID Vaccination documentation required
