Location: Harrison, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call Requirement: No
- Floating: As needed within scope
- Locals Allowed: No
- Radius Restriction: 50 miles
- First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
- EMR System: Meditech
- Block Scheduling: Willing to discuss in interview
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Proof of I9 or Attestation
- Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
- Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
- Education Verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- State License Verification (Primary Source)
- NURSYS Verification (for all RNs)
- Competency Exams as applicable (Medication/Pharmacology, Core Parts I-III)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Initial physical exam, updated annually
- Annual fit mask test prior to start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional documentation if positive)
- Required vaccinations or titers with boosters if needed:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
- Varicella
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or facility-specific declination (mask required if unvaccinated during flu season)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or facility declination with approval
- Drug Testing:
- 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
- Drug screen within 2 weeks of start including marijuana
Additional Requirements
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Completed employment application/resume
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
- Performance evaluations if previously worked over 1 year with the system
- Internal evaluations if previously worked over 2 years with the system
