Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

Job Details

• Shift: Four 9-hour shifts (07:00 - 16:30)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Work Hours:

  • 36 hours for 3, 12-hour shifts
  • 48 hours for 4, 12-hour shifts
  • 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)
• On-Call: Yes, one night per week (16:30 - 07:00) and every third weekend (Friday 16:30 - Monday 07:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other or every third weekend based on needs
• Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
• Local Candidates: Accepted, no radius restrictions
• Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Work Setting Experience Required:

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Interventional Radiology)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA only: Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
  • BLS (AHA only: Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
• Licensure: Valid RN license for Michigan (pending state license NOT accepted)

• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (no declinations accepted)
• TB testing annually (QGold, TSPOT, or 2-step PPD) with chest x-ray if positive
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap) with some declinations accepted except in certain departments
• Completion of facility-specific forms including demographics, emergency contact, vaccine attestation (if declining vaccines), and contractor screening checklist
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
