Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Case Manager
Location: Everett, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 5x8 hour day shifts
- Weekends: Required every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period
- Floating: Yes, will float between like units across hospital campuses within close proximity
- Locals: Not accepted
- Pending License: Accepted
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Case Management experience (minimum 1 year within the last year)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Acute care experience
- Discharge planning experience
Facility & Work Environment
- Level II Trauma Center
- Total staffed beds: 571 (across multiple campuses)
- Charting system: EPIC
- Scrub color: Any except reddish orange
- Parking: Facility paid
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with all background checks and verifications including:
- Recent background check (within 90 days) covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification
- State-specific searches as required by Washington state law
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- Flu vaccine during flu season (declinations accepted)
- COVID vaccination documentation preferred (declinations not required)
- Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap as per facility policy
- Drug screening (9 panel) within 12 months
- Respirator medical clearance required annually for travel candidates
- Fit mask testing required (annual) for travel candidates
- Completion of required Workramp modules and facility-specific training prior to start
- Must complete float policy acknowledgement
References & Documentation
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years
- Skills checklists and competency exams as applicable to unit and specialty
Notes
- First-time travel nurses accepted
- Prior travel experience not required
- Must be willing to float between units and campuses as needed
- Candidates with pending licenses are eligible to apply
