Job Description

• Seeking a dual modality technologist skilled in both CT and X-ray.
• Must be comfortable providing coverage in the Operating Room (OR).
• Evening shift involves rotation between CT and X-ray modalities during the week.
• Flexibility to assist in both departments as needed, especially in OR support when assigned to X-ray.
• Evening staffing typically includes two techs in CT and two techs in X-ray.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of identity (government-issued photo ID).
• Background checks including criminal history, education verification, and social security verification.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start; if past positive TB, physical within 30 days required.
• Negative Qgold (QFT) TB test within 30 days of start; if past positive, chest X-ray within 1 year and annual TB questionnaire.
• Immunization and health documentation including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted).
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella proof or vaccination series.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Fit mask (N95) certification within 1 year, renewed annually.
• Photo for badge (passport style, business attire, solid backdrop) required before start.
• Two professional references from the specialty/unit within 2 years.
• Employment application and skills checklist as applicable.

Additional Notes

• Flexibility and comfort working across CT and X-ray modalities is essential.
• Must be able to support OR cases when assigned to X-ray.
• Evening shift rotation requires adaptability to changing assignments.
• All certifications and documentation must be current and compliant with facility requirements.

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist who is versatile, experienced in both CT and X-ray, and comfortable working in a smaller facility environment with cross-coverage responsibilities.
