Job Overview
- Location: New Haven, Connecticut
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:30 PM as needed, plus every other Saturday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Floating: May float between 4 sites
- Start: ASAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Connecticut
- Mammography Technologist (4 years of experience)
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ARRT (M)
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Hologic equipment
Schedule Expectations
- Weekend coverage is required
- Schedule is posted one week in advance
- If scheduled on Saturday, a weekday off is provided
Additional Notes
- Cross-training as a breast sonographer is preferred
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Requests for time off greater than 7 days require approval

Always given very easy assignments. Their MICU is combined with the MICU stepdown so travelers were put in stepdown once a week but it’s a 1:3 ratio there and assignments were fair

Very large unit so hard to get to know everyone/find people to help sometimes
