Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Hours per week: 40 hours
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes (rotating weekends)
  • On Call Requirement: Yes (rotating weekends and late call until 7 PM Monday-Thursday, plus Friday night call rotation)
  • Float Requirement: May float to other surgical specialties
  • Holiday Requirement: Yes

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience in Neurology, Plastic Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery
