Critical Care Float Nurse

Location

  • Augusta, Georgia

Job Type

  • Travel/Contract

Shift

  • Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Contract Length

  • 12 weeks

Patient Population

  • Adults to geriatrics

Unit Coverage / Floating

  • Primary float assignment is ICU Float
  • May float to MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU units within the hospital
  • Floating is required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Georgia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • 1 year of ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • Experience with Epic

Work Setting / Clinical Experience

  • Experience with MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU diagnoses

Schedule Expectations

  • Every other weekend
  • No call required
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off per contract
  • Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the contract period

Additional Notes

  • Epic experience is required
  • Navy blue scrubs
  • Locals are accepted
  • Full compliance is required to start on time
