Critical Care Float Nurse

Shift

Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Contract Length

12 weeks

Patient Population

Adults to geriatrics

Unit Coverage / Floating

Primary float assignment is ICU Float
May float to MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU units within the hospital
Floating is required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
1 year of ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS
NIHSS
Experience with Epic

Work Setting / Clinical Experience

Experience with MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU diagnoses

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend
No call required
Up to 7 days of requested time off per contract
Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the contract period

Additional Notes

Epic experience is required
Navy blue scrubs
Locals are accepted
Full compliance is required to start on time
