Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Possible weekend and holiday shifts required

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) certification
• California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy permits
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Orthopedic (Ortho) experience
• X-Ray Technician experience

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Current and valid Driver’s License or government-issued photo ID
• Background checks within 30 days of start, including:

  • Social Security Trace
  • 7-year National Criminal History Search (County searches)
  • National Sex Offender Search
  • FACIS level 3 search (includes OFAC)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG searches (annual requirement)
• Education verification: diploma or official transcripts acceptable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (specific approved mask models required)
• Immunizations and titers as applicable:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (declination accepted)
  • Negative TB test (QGold required within 1 year)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (titers or proof of vaccination/declination)
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months (Aya requirement)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination (required during flu season)
• COVID vaccine or declination (vaccine must be administered after 9/12/2023 or declination signed)

Facility-Specific Requirements (Must be completed prior to or shortly after start)

• Completion of facility onboarding documents including:

  • Photo for badge (high-quality, recent, color headshot)
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • HIPAA Privacy and Information Security Training with signed acknowledgment
  • Annual OSHA and other required education modules
  • Facility-specific abuse reporting acknowledgments (Elder, Child, Domestic)
  • Access request forms (for Allied techs, LVNs, CNAs, Non-Clinical, Interim Leadership)
  • Pyxis form (for RNs and RRTs only)
  • Harassment Prevention Training certificate (California mandated)
  • Other facility-specific training modules and policy packets as applicable

References and Employment History

• Two professional references required; at least one must be from the past year and at supervisor level or above
• Employment application covering last 7 years with explanations for gaps of 30 days or more
• Work history verification for last 5 years, including gap explanations
