Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Shift Details

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays required
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required
• No block scheduling accommodation
• Locals not accepted (must be outside 50-mile radius from main campus)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with both Adult and Pediatric patients

Work Environment & Expectations

• Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients in ICU settings
• Night shifts, weekends, and holidays are mandatory
• Floating between like units as needed
• Only 4 days of requested time off allowed, no holidays off
• Call-off policy: Up to 2 shifts off per 13-week assignment; beyond that, hours are guaranteed
• Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning

Additional Requirements

• Professional appearance and scrub color: solid black or black and white
• Must complete facility-specific documents prior to start (e.g., confidentiality agreements, emergency contact form, job description acknowledgment)
• Photo for badge required (passport-style, solid background, no large earrings or face piercings)
• Parking registration required if driving to work
• Completion of mandatory modules prior to start (due Monday before start date)
• Staff call-out acknowledgment and corporate code of conduct acknowledgment required

• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Background checks with convictions or active cases within the last year will result in cancellation
• Interview availability must be provided upon submission
