Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Behavioral Health experience
- Pediatric Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Behavioral Health experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge roles
Role Details
- Float pool nurses work across inpatient units serving children, adolescents, and adults
- May be assigned as charge RN during a shift
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- On-call is not required
- Floating within scope is expected
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland before start
- Government-issued photo ID is required
- Background check, education verification, and reference checks are required
- TB screening, drug screen, flu documentation or exemption, COVID documentation or declination, and fit mask are required
- Annual TB questionnaire is required
- CPI training is completed onsite
