Location

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Day shift, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  • 2 on-call shifts per month
  • Variable days of the week
  • Floating within scope to meet facility needs

Specialty

  • Radiology / Cardiology (CT Technology)
  • Siemens experience required

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Siemens equipment experience

Licensure and Certifications

  • Washington State Radiology license required

Facility Highlights

  • Magnet-designated, teaching hospital, Level I trauma center
  • Approximately 500 staffed beds
  • Charting system: Epic (with hard stops)
  • Scrub color: Any solid color scrubs; light blue scrubs provided on unit
  • Parking: Onsite parking available with fees; offsite parking with shuttle service on weekdays

Required Background Checks and Verifications

  • 7-year criminal background check including nationwide, sex offender, FACIS Level 1, and Washington WATCH search
  • Education verification as applicable
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
  • Sex offender search
  • Washington State-specific WATCH search

Required Competencies and Exams

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (if applicable)
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for Radiology/Angio and related units; must pass with 80% (2 attempts max)
  • Conscious sedation competency exam if working in GI Lab/Endoscopy or certain ambulatory care areas

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year (not required by facility but required by agency)
  • Mask fit test within 12 months (specific mask models required)
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination on file
  • Negative TB test (Qgold, Tspot, or 2-step PPD within 90 days) or chest X-ray if positive TB history
  • Annual TB questionnaire (except Micro Lab candidates)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: titer or 2 vaccines required; declination allowed with acknowledgment of furlough risk
  • Hepatitis B: positive titer or completed vaccine series with re-titer; declination allowed with acknowledgment of furlough risk
  • Varicella: titer or 2 vaccines required; declination allowed with acknowledgment of furlough risk
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination required during flu season (Sept 29 – Mar 31)
  • COVID vaccination or declination required for tracking purposes

Additional Facility-Specific Requirements

  • Badge photo meeting professional standards required
  • Signed acknowledgments for license, equipment safety, policies and procedures, job description, PCIS agreement, personal data form, and code of conduct
  • WA License Complaint Clearance required for all using WA State License
  • Suicide prevention training required for multi-state licensed nurses working in WA (6-hour course)
  • Background packet including personal data form, national background check form, driver’s license copy, WATCH search results, OIG/SAM, and NSO forms

References and Evaluations

  • Two professional references required
  • Performance evaluations may be requested upon assignment completion
