PCU/Oncology Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Omaha, Nebraska
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Contract options: 13 or 26 weeks
Weekly hours option: 48 hours

Unit Summary

Adult progressive surgical, oncology, palliative care, and progressive acute care patients receiving chemotherapy
24-bed unit

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse license
BLS and ACLS
2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
EPIC charting experience
First-time travelers are not accepted

Scheduling and Floating

Travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently
Floating may include Bellevue campus and units within scope to meet facility needs
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Up to 2 weeks of requested time off is permitted

Additional Notes

Drips are required on all floors
Locals are not accepted; candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility
Pending license is accepted, but if the license is not in hand at submission, the traveler will be booked six weeks out
Scrubs are mandatory and must be Steele gray with the facility logo
Parking is available for a monthly permit or daily rate
Facility is 100% nicotine free
