Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Columbia, South Carolina
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1 year of experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- Experience with Epic
- Weekend coverage is required, with frequency varying but usually no more than every other weekend
- Call is required for 36-hour contracts, with up to 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Driver’s license or state ID is required
- E-Verify or attestation is required
- Background check is required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM search is required
- HHS/OIG search is required
- OFAC sanctions list search is required
- Primary source verification of state license is required
- BLS is required
- ACLS is required
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement is required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start is required
- Negative TB or chest X-ray is required
- Drug testing is required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap is required for RRTs in high-risk areas
Preferred
- Team player who works well with others
- Limited RTO is preferred
- Holidays are not guaranteed
Additional Notes
- While on call for night shift, travelers are only on call from 4 PM to 8 PM, not the entire 12-hour shift
- After 8 PM, the traveler is no longer on call and would not be called in
