MS/Tele CARDIAC RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Dothan, Alabama
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• 13-week contract
• Unit: MS/Tele CARDIAC
• Patient ratio: 1:6 and 1:7
• Block scheduling allowed
• Every other weekend required
• No local travelers within a 90-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alabama RN license in good standing
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 1 year of experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Prior travel experience required
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association or United States Department of Defense
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips, including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS

Compliance / Onboarding

• COVID vaccination required unless there is a documented religious or medical exemption
• Flu vaccination required unless there is a documented religious or medical exemption
• Hard deadline for compliance is 1 week prior to start
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation
• Driver’s license or state ID must match the name on the RN license
• Social Security Card required
• 2 clinical references required
• Background check, education verification, and license verification required
• APS clearance form and results required for Alabama Shirley’s Law
• Physical exam required
• Fit test required within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Drug test required within 90 days of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
• Skills checklist required

• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
