Job Overview

• Location: Maryville, Tennessee
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Floating to other like units may be required
• Weekend coverage is every other weekend, though this may change based on need

Unit / Patient Population

• Patient population includes patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis, atrial fibrillation, and post–heart cath care
• The unit steps down from ICU and does not take vents or pressor support
• Medications/drips the unit can take include heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Telemetry is part of the unit’s care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic
