NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Murrieta, California
• 13-week assignment
• Variable day/night schedule, 3x12 shifts
• Start date: September 28 only
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Schedule Requirements

• Must work every other weekend
• Must work 2 of these 3 holidays, including holiday eves: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
• Maximum of 6 days of requested time off
• On-call may be required occasionally

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience attending high-risk deliveries
• Experience with Epic

Work Setting

• Assigned to the NICU
• May float to other locations as needed, with notice prior to shift
• Mid-shift floating may be required occasionally
• Will remain within NICU scope when floating

• Scrubs may be any color
