Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Tucson, Arizona
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x12 hours, 11:00–23:30
48 hours per week
3x12s may be available if preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience caring for ventilated patients
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Level 1 trauma experience

Work Environment

Supports PCTs and medics
Patient ratio: 1:5
Approximately 210 visits per day
Every other weekend coverage required, with 4 weekend shifts during the contract

Additional Notes

EPIC familiarity required
Local candidates are not accepted
