Travel/Contract role in Orange, California
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
36 hours per week

Unit Details

40–44 bed medical-surgical/Telemetry unit
RN-to-patient ratio: 1:4 to 1:5
Acuity adaptable unit
Patient population includes post-surgical patients, including trauma, plastic, vascular, and other surgical patients
Fast-paced environment with a highly cohesive, supportive, and collaborative nursing team

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience with Epic
BLS
ACLS
NIH Stroke Certification
2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty
Government issued photo ID
Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Physical within 1 year of start, updated annually
N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Hepatitis B series or declination
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
Rubeola (Measles) immunity documentation
Mumps immunity documentation
Rubella immunity documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Flu vaccination or declination
9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
Signed unit-specific job description
Signed confidentiality agreement within 72 hours of signing
Signed traveler acknowledgement
