<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Nov 30, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 3</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a day shift position requiring an active CA RN license and at least 1 year of telemetry experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in the Telemetry/PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown unit of a hospital setting</li><li>Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response</li><li>Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM</li><li>Utilizes Epic EMR system</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)</li><li>Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care and telemetry experience required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in work history</li><li>Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management (no titration), and non-invasive airway/oxygen management</li><li>Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols required</li><li>Two supervisor references required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care including cardiac monitoring, rapid response coordination, and management of IV and line therapies</li><li>Use of rapid response and code teams as part of standard unit protocol</li><li>First-time travelers are not accepted for this position; prior travel experience required</li><li>Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers</li><li>Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler</li></ul>
