Overview

Travel/contract assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina
13-week contract
Day shift, 3x12 hours: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
36 hours per week
Mixed acuity unit with PCU and MS/Tele patients
48-bed unit
Target ratio is 1:4–5; in extreme situations, 1:6
Must float to like units
Every other weekend required
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
IV start
Experience with mechanical ventilation
Experience with CPAP
Experience with BiPAP
Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias

Orientation and Scheduling

24 hours of unit orientation
Block scheduling may be accommodated when unit needs are met

Additional Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed
Scrubs not provided; wear white or navy blue
