Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Coupeville, Washington
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 18-26 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00
• Schedule: flex scheduling, 9a-9:30p
• Weekends required: every 3rd
• Call not required
• Floating required as needed within scope
• Locals allowed
• First-time travelers accepted
• Block scheduling allowed
• Unit does not accept travel partners

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN for Labor & Delivery
• NRP for L&D
• CHEMO for Oncology
• NIH Stroke Certification
• EFM
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable by profession

• Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM search within 90 days of start
• HHS/OIG search within 90 days of start
• Education verification or official transcripts/diploma if needed for clearance
• Washington WSP/WATCH search within 90 days of start
• Competency Exam
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Photo for badge
• WhidbeyHealth sanction disclosure
• WhidbeyHealth contractor form
• WhidbeyHealth unit-specific job description review/signature
• ID badge request form
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella immunity or completed series
• Hepatitis B titer or vaccination/declination if titer is negative
• Varicella immunity or completed series
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or declination
• COVID vaccination or declination
• Skills checklist annually

• Washington multi-state licensed nurses suicide prevention training is required when an RN or LVN is using a multi-state license from a state other than Washington and working in Washington
