Medical Surgical RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Columbia, Missouri
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Floating required
First-time traveler accepted
No locals within 50 miles

Unit

Integrated Medicine: 24-bed max capacity med-surg unit focused on at-risk patients
Secured unit with whole-unit video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

Trauma 1 experience

Additional Notes

Rotating shifts, holidays, and inclement weather coverage may be required
Role includes working call and at least 50% of holidays during the contract
Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
Candidate may come into contact with patients who have contagious illnesses
