Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Schedule choice: 3x12s or 4x12s
- Traveler choice assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience with high acuity postpartum care
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Magnesium management experience
- Pitocin administration experience
- Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
- Substance withdrawal care experience
- Experience managing 4 couplets (postpartum patient assignments)
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Postpartum / mother-baby / couplet care setting
- High-volume, high-census unit with high-risk obstetric patients
- May be asked to manage a 4th couplet during census surge
- Standard patient load includes 4 couplets
Floating
- Floating is required to postpartum at Issaquah Campus and Edmonds Campus
- May also float to Labor and Delivery for the second hour of recovery
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of relevant experience
- JADA experience is preferred
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days per contract
